Appalling customer service. The waitstaff was rude and had us wait an hour for food, which was certainly not worth the wait or the price. I believe it’s important to support local businesses, but it’s a real shame when places like this fail to deliver any kind of customer experience. I won’t be supporting this one again, but they don’t seem to care about losing customers anyway.

Loved the food and the ambience.

The first experience was OK. But today on my second visit, I was served with not well-cooked chicken tikka biryani and rice. Plus I had the overly-priced-not-the-authentic or not typical Indian spicy 'chilly chicken'. It had the same taste as chilli chicken dry which I ordered as my starter. I gathered that they used the same ingredients for both the chicken types. The staff didn't seem to care at all. Never gonna visit there again. The money spent was completely wasted.

Very unfriendly and rude. Food is terrible and overpriced. Waiters are not well trained, they take wrong orders and the owner comes to blame it on the customer. He even asked that students should stop visiting their shop. And said "It is for the Germans because they pay everything without making a fuss" although if it is too expensive.

Worst experience of my life! Most of the restaurants either offer students equal respect as compared to others and some even offer special discounts, but this restaurant discriminates against students and has restrictions on where students can sit. The servers are arrogant and rude even though being incompetent. They often mix up drink orders and when it is brought to their notice, they straight up lie to your face. The food on the other hand is the worst tasting Indian food i have ever tasted. The meat is not fully cooked and the herbs are out of proportion. I even heard they pay illegal salaries to their workers as one of my friend went there to ask for work and they told him, the payment would be only in cash and they would pay 6€per hour(which is 3€ below minimum wage)

Poor service and food quality. Arrogant owner and waiters. Discrimination against students. Cannot choose where to sit and then treated with no hospitality. Worst experience with an indian restaurant in Germany.

Utter disappointment! From the service to the food, this restaurant has by far been the worst experience for me. The waitresses are rude and ill-mannered.They are not courteous at all towards the customers. The restaurant doesn’t like entertaining students and is really discriminative in this regard. The food is terrible as compared to other Indian restaurants in Germany let alone the actual ones India. Disgusting behavior!

The quality of food is not all consistent. The appetizers are the worst thing to order here and most of the time the meat is almost raw and uncooked. I almost went to the hospital because of the food poisoning. I think this is the worst restaurant in kleve.

"spineless" and "disgusting" are the only words to describe this so called "restaurant". Appalling kitchen conditions, food not worth the money and absolutely horrible service, zero clue on how to treat and deal with customers. Please do yourself a favour and travel elsewhere to have some good food. Partiality against people from different backgrounds. Meat is weeks old at best.

We have a nice meal, friendly service. Your food is prepared fresh, so you sometimes have to wait a little longer, but that certainly benefits the taste.

Didn't like my wife or me. We didn't like the food and it wasn't cheap. So personally we were very disappointed. We didn't find the waitress to be particularly friendly. Ambience is like that. Let's not go there again.

Quality is below par. It already started with drinking. 1 non-alcoholic cocktail ordered. They ask almost 6 euros for it so you expect something tasty. Well, no. You only tasted bad orange juice from a package. Ordered coke, it is no longer an issue, but it costs 4.30 euros. We had to wait an hour for the starter while it wasn't even busy. Main course was also below par, tough lamb and dish consisted of 50 percent pepper. So not recommended and we will certainly never eat here again.

Were there for the second time today. As with the first visit, we had a friendly and helpful waitress. We had fish, duck and chicken, each dish delicious. The rice for us was on a larger plate, which is not an advantage, the rice is too cold and in the back and forth can quickly get lost rice on the tablecloth Maybe there would be a bowl with lid or similar attached. Should not be a criticism just an idea.

The service was very friendly. We were served very quickly, had to wait for the food about 25 minutes, there was never anybody again and asked if we needed anything else. For us (four women) it was a very successful evening.

Service was really slow, 1 hr wait, and it wasn't overly busy. The order was wrong when it came out. Needles to say I don't think I will go again soon.

Really... i never knew that here in Taaj when you oder Chicken biryani you get chicken fried rice. Fooling Europeans ?. Other Curry dishes are good.

A very good Indian restaurant The food is delicious and rich it is freshly prepared. We feel very well looked after and entertained here. The staff is very friendly and responsive to the wishes of the guest. We always like to come here for a leisurely meal and enjoy the evening. We are always happy to be here, even if the journey is a bit further away. We will be back....

Service was not the best, but decent. The food was good but not great. Considering it's the only Indian restaurant around the area, I would go back but I didn't love it.

Best restaurant in kleve in my opinion! The waitress here is really nice and friendly. I was never able to finish my portion here and the food always takes me somewhere else. They could do some work on the deco though

This "restaurant" serves halal meat and as we all know, halal slaughter of animals is an extremely barbaric form of animal abuse. The (islamic) slaughterman uses a surgically sharp instrument to cut the animal's throat, windpipe and the blood vessels around its neck. The blood is then allowed to drain from the body and the animal dies slowly.

From the beginning, when it started to now, the food and the service has shown tremendous improvement. Being an indian, i love going here quite often. The waiting times have changed from hours to normal waiting times. The food tastes even better than some restauarnts in india. If you want to get a taste of india. Definitely go here and try the paneer karahi, paneer lababdar, chicken tikka masala and chiken tikka biryani with garlic naan. This is my absolute favorite from the restaurant menu.

One of my favourite spots in Kleve. Top notch food, with exquisite and variant options. Fresh, yummy, and affordable. Also, rather good service, as well as a cozy ambient. Bathrooms are kinda cold though.

Best curry we've had so far! But can be a bit unclear about dietary restrictions/allergens. Asked the staff if the mango ice cream was vegan and got told yes but then the actual ice cream had both milk in it and whipped cream on top (just read the menu very carefully, it does say in there for most dishes)

Authentic Indian taste served by very friendly staff.

There is a long wait for the food. Eat something before you go cause the delecious smell from the kitchen will make you even more hungry. The service and food prices are reasonable. If you are an Indian and you haven't had Indian food for a while this is a great alternative from the other expensive restaurants in Nijmigen and Düsseldorf. But be prepared to wait
